when the crows caw #talesofberseria #art

A drawing of Velvet Crowe from the video game Tales of Berseria. She’s sitting on an unseen platform while looking straight at the camera; her expression unreadable. Her right leg’s brought up to her chest where both of her arms rest on. Surrounding her are 4 black crows; they either perches on the same platform or seems to be in the middle of taking flight. The overall colors for this piece are dark blue contrasting with reddish pink, while the lighting is harsh white.

Heavenly☆Crusader @divinesabers.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

I love how both places shit themselves at the same time exactly the day after I figure out how the actual Feeds work and haven't been able to build one cause of the outage. It'll take me awhile before I do, but I think I feel a lot more comfortable with the idea of moving here if Twitter collapses.

Heavenly☆Crusader @divinesabers.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

It seems I had to change my settings with the feeds languages, and it's showing them now, but I'll still keep that list since it's still useful and set my own personal TL.

Heavenly☆Crusader @divinesabers.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

Oh that fixed it! Thanks! I don't remember ever setting one. Now I can see everything.

100

Heavenly☆Crusader @divinesabers.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

Also I've scrolled a bit through the only posts lists that shows only posts from those you're following and I noticed it doesn't seem to show posts in other languages from some users? What the fuck, the BSky custom list actually sucks. Yeah, I think I'll have to make a separate one. Welp.

210

Heavenly☆Crusader @divinesabers.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

but I guess I'm gonna have to make my own separate personal TL that's strictly for friends and whatever else apart from the following only, cause sometimes I only want to see their posts and nothing else. It feels messy and redundant. I don't like wading through multiple TL's if I can help it, lol.

110

Heavenly☆Crusader @divinesabers.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

I thought Lists would help and they sort of do, but I noticed they only show posts from those added and not their RP's... and the only way to see them is on the main TL. It kind of sucks cause I thought it would work the same way Twitter's did. I have a posts only list to separate it from the main-

Heavenly☆Crusader @divinesabers.bsky.social · 14/11/2024

Twitter's feeling kinda deadish for obvious reasons, so I've been lurking around here for bit looking through some things trying to figure out how I want to go about organizing the TL some more, since I realize this place is still a bit of a mess to me.

If social media has taught me anything over the years, it’s to have an extremely loose blocking finger. Someone harassing you? Block. Post things that make you uncomfortable? Block. Slightly annoyed you? Block. Don’t like their vibes? Block. You can block anyone for any reason. +

I came across an outdated guide on image grid sizing crop/proportions for bsky earlier, and I felt it was important to create an updated version! Please use this new guide instead!

Up-to-date BlueSky Crop Aspect Ratio
Crop Sizes for Bluesky as of 18 Oct 2024

By default, single images are uncropped. If image is too tall (Exceeds the 1:2 aspect ratio) then it will be cropped. Single images that are too tall may be scaled down but aspect ratio is preserved

With two images, both of them share a square aspect ratio of 1:1

For three images, the first image is square (1:1) while the other two are half-squares (2:1)

And for 4 images, all of them are 3:2

I'll still be using Twitter until it collapses though. I'll try and be a little more active around here while I get acclimated with the newer features. It's been nice seeing BSky evolve as a new SocMed site.
