I mean when I see things like this I think two things: 1. Old people were never nicer they were just scared into compliance with the tools they understood 2. I mean some old people (Like Bertie!) had Jeeves to help them navigate politeness!
A BlueSky post by someone named PG-13 Wodehouse that says "one thing that has changed since I was a kit is that old people used to have much better manners than young people. Now I'd the guy behind you on the airplane is playing phone games with the sound on, odds are good he's in his sixties."

Okay not sure why a pastor is saying "Gluttony is just as much a sin as murder..." when the Bible never ever uses the word gluttony and although it does describes people (only twice!) as a glutton/gluttonous never directly says it is a sin as opposed to, say, THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT.

Such as this:
AI summary of comments reads: The conversation explores the tension between traditional and progressive interpretations of Christianity, particularly in the context of political and social issues. Participants in this discussion express strong support for James Talarico's inclusive and compassionate approach to Christianity, contrasting it with what they perceive as the judgmental and exclusionary stance of conservative Christians. Many comments highlight the disconnect between the teachings of Jesus, which emphasize love and acceptance, and the political agendas that some associate with modern conservative Christianity. The discussion also touches on the perceived misuse of Christianity to justify political power and bigotry, with several commenters advocating for a return to the core values of compassion and understanding. Additionally, there is criticism of the focus on transgender issues as a political tool, with calls for acceptance and protection of marginalized communities. Overall, the comments reflect a desire for a more inclusive and loving interpretation of Christianity that aligns with the teachings of Jesus."

I mean you had me at robot. Then... it turned into a "decorative prototype" that doesn't move and can't go in water. Smells like a Kickstarter opportunity though!
Can I put the RoboTurtle in water? No. This prototype is not waterproof and should not be exposed to water or any liquids. Is the RoboTurtle a functional robot?

No.
The BeatBot RoboTurtle BFF Limited Edition is a decorative prototype figure, not a working robot.

As someone who owns one of these saying "we won't support" is so wide ranging. The later paragraphs detail the specifics and honestly losing the Nest App to control it is the most annoying to me.
Google says Nests - "you'll still be able to adjust the temperature, mode, schedules, and settings on your thermostat - and existing schedules should continue to work uninterrupted. However your thermostat will no longer receive software or security updates, will not have any Nest app or Google Home App controls and will not support other connected features like Home/Away Assist. See more details..."
