They’re so big so she can act like she doesn’t hear you! But touch a crinkly bag in the kitchen and watch out! (Also when she’s happy, they flap when she walks.)

ack it's already Saturday so it's time for a summary of drabbles!! but there's only been three days of October so far so this is all of my #xvtober pieces actually 😂 read them all at archiveofourown.org/works/93645676 or squidgeworld.org/works/101513! #ffxv #ffxvfic #seaofolivesoriginal

Chapter 1: ingredients (xvtober2025 day 1)

The more Noctis thinks about it, the less it becomes fun to watch Gladio’s bulk hunching down stop motion-style to be of service to Ignis who, anyway, is already on his knee, clawing the earth with his bare hands, tidiness be damned.

“Whatcha thinkin’, Noct?” Maybe a true friend would withhold certain information.

But anyway, he points at Ignis rising to his feet, a look of triumph on his face as he brushes the dirt off the man-looking root using his own two hands, then explains to Prompto, “If you think about it, we put that thing in our mouths.”

Chapter 2: ancestors (xvtober2025 day 2)

“And who is that?”

“Who?” Prompto looks at Ignis funny. “That’s my grandfather! He’s the same guy in this picture. Here, see?” With a deft set of fingers, he brings them five pictures back in his camera roll, to that one where Prompto has convinced the old man to put up a pair of peace signs for their selfie. “We’re practically twins from the nose down!” So he says.

But, well, who is Ignis to tell him his grandfather’s nose is quite obviously wider than his, and his chin much thinner?

With a nod, Ignis concedes. “Yes. I see it.”

Chapter 3: strong enemies (xvtober2024 day 3)

Notes:

it was between this or "hotel" from xvtober2023 so I figured I could just combine both 😂

Chapter Text

The flash of sunlight is Noctis’ signifier for war. Even with the blanket pulled from his clutches, he glares upon his oppressors. He won’t falter, even though one of them is a man-shaped garula flexing his muscles, and the other is closer to a coeurl than a human being, nudging his glasses back. He knows their plan of attack, he’s been through this before.

Unfortunately for him, he’s yet to succeed in escaping Ignis once he’s got his clutches on him. Not for the first—or likely the last—time, he leaves the hotel kicking and screaming on Gladio’s shoulder.

post a meme made by you I love my nonsense. It distracts from the horrors.

Mobius and Loki in TVA suits walking down a hall. Loki is looking at Mobius. The text is a post from boujeeslut which reads “me training a new person at my job: ‘so you’re not really supposed to do this but this is what I do.’”

Loki in a suit, looking forward distraught. The text is a post from fruitviking which reads: “Can we stop with the character development. Where’s my beach episode.”

Mobius and Loki looking at each other in an elevator. Mobius wears a TVA suit and Loki wears a TVA prisoner jumpsuit with a collar. The text is a post from sadderlizards which reads “of course I can handle you at your worst that’s basically all the time.”

Loki wears a TVA suit and a huge grin as he squeezes a juice box over Mobius’ salad. The text is a post from itsianraymond which reads “I love being in STEM (shenanigans, tomfoolery, escapades, and mischief)”.

I fast-forward through ad reads and I love when “frequently skipped section” comes up. The worst, imo, is a 10 minute video that’s a 3-4 minute ad read.

Honestly surprised I had this! From an #IgNoct AU that lives rent-free in my head. #wordgamewednesday

Catching his breath against the door, Ignis scanned the room. The light that gave him such protection was little more than a weak bulb under a dusty lampshade. A faded floral coverlet hung limply over a bed that seemed sure to creak and pillows that might have been fluffy two decades earlier. A TV from another era perched on a dresser that looked more likely to hold mice than clothing and farther back, a thin door guarded what Ignis supposed served as the washroom.
