This is why Covid got squashed and “doesn’t exist” anymore - if you become disabled from it, that’s your problem, since Chosen Ones do not get a fictional disease. No need to mask or provide air purifiers in public spaces or remote jobs if it’s all down to faith/being superior/hand wavium.

I’m in my early 40s and when a friend picked me up for a road trip last year, I taught her Horse and she taught me her Weird Car game (rare or odd cars get certain points depending on their rarity) 😂😂

Got my first Smith-Waite tarot deck today and becuase I usually use a more stylistic cartoon deck, it’s intriguing to see the level of detail and the esoteric card descriptions. My fave is the King of Wands, who is “dark, ardent and lithe”. That is a VIBE. It’s such a snapshot of its time.

We did this with horses! It had things like, if you saw a horse float and called it first, you got everyone else’s horses. If you saw a cemetery and called it first, everyone else’s horses died, and you won. Sometimes you’d yell “cow!” just to psych out your sibling.

11. Despite being short and very childlike I unfortunately developed boobs early. A guy in his 70s cornered me on the bus, made sexualised comments and groped me until his stop. I was terrified and never told anyone for fear I’d be blamed and get a hiding from my parents.

Agency is critical, I think that’s it. When boundaries are constantly crossed and kids (even when they’re adults) are treated like products or objects… yeah that’s time to ease on out of that dynamic as safely as possible. It sucks your mates are going through that, but hopefully it’ll shift in time

Uuuugh we’re hitting that here! It was 5C last night, and I am not ready for 6 Months of Dark Winter and Gloom. Like, granted, the heatwaves were too much for me but summer means you can actually leave the house and don’t spend 90% of your day shivering and looking forward to your hot shower.
