My daily cat calendar that I frequently forget to check has provided me with a very useful piece of notepaper this month!

A daily calendar sheet with a fact:

I wish I'd gotten a picture, I'm scared of spiders so when I say big nobody believes me but he was so chonk that when the guy punted the bugger it was like watching a leggy rubber ball fly through the air, I was both panicking and feeling bad for it and the checkout guy was legit laugh-crying! 😭

Cleaning up my room, decided to remind myself what was on a box that’s just been sat there for years. Found my childhood jewellery box filled with random trinkets that I had deemed Special while growing up including, of course, one obligatory millennial saved sticker to be used only upon my demise

Peeking inside a jewellery box we see in the forefront a pin that says, “FIRST NIGHT Vancouver 2000 New Year’s Eve”, and a red singer with oversized shoes attached to a man holding a microphone and holding out his hand in what I imagine was a cool gesture from my youth, the sticker is shiny and changes colours on the character’s jacket and backpack. Behind these we can see the mirror in the jewellery box scribbled with “I love you mom”

Not that it's what one should have to do, but Duck Duck Go has a setting to turn off AI image results. It may not have 100% accuracy, but it's certainly an improvement over the AI-flooded "regular" result settings.

Few in my building understand anymore, many have moved, I wonder if they check knobs in their new place. I wonder how they feel about BBQs in the summer, chimneys in the winter, did they ever adjust to the smell? Do they keep a bag by the door, stuff their cat in the carrier before checking doors?

It has been sixteen years since a fire occurred at my apartment building. Anything that smells smoky still sets me off, running around checking doorknobs fearing my building is on fire, standing in the hallway looking odd to a neighbour that wasn't here and doesn't understand.
