I've been having fun with DMing for a D&D 5e game. Foundry has been an excellent tool for playing with my friends online, but it's given me a bad habit of adding too many cool supplements. It's worked well, though, since it enabled me to make a fantasy republics vs. WW1 empire backdrop for my game.

In the six months that I've been DMing for my friends in D&D, I've found that having an understanding of the mathematics behind dice rolls, specifically the calculation of averages and probability, makes it easy and fun to make a bespoke balance for your party.

How long until people get it through their heads that if they think of money as a zero-sum game, turning a profit means you're not helping. Governments should never turn a profit, as they SHOULD exist as a representation of the will of the people, in other words, an all encompassing worker's union.

So, I finished the first Death Stranding game. Holy shit, it was phenomenal! Even the metajoke bits with different celebrities. It took me a while to figure out Junji Ito was in it, and I've still gotta wrap up maybe a handful of things to 5 stars, but damn is it good.

At first, I think of what a fantastical world it would be if vampires existed. After that, I think of the kind of people in my region that would be easy pickings for vampires. I then think of biomagnification, and how toxins in prey affect predators. I don't want meth vampires.
