rice is probably my favorite staple food but one must appreciate how well a lot of noodles go with eggs and dairy (<-this post made over a bowl of carbonara ramen)

There's ways to set up your Linux so you don't really have to use the command line but I'll confess this is one of the things I am less able to help with without looking a ton of things up because all the command line stuff is one of the reasons I ❤️ using Linux

Like... I don't WANT to use Windows is the thing. That's why I installed Linux! It's not for entirely apolitical reasons sure, but really there's just a lot of aspects to how Linux works that just mesh better with me. I love my command line, I love not dealing with Windows updater,

At least Photopea does like, 99% of the things I use Photoshop for. Thank you Mr. Kutskir for my life.

I hate GIMP as a piece of software but fortunately I also hate both the people behind it and, for the most part, the people who promote it as well.

A new article from me: I've been around for decades of discourse about the GIMP, and it's high time to retire this conversation forever. I'll contribute my last word on it: aria.dog/barks/gnu-im...

Let's stop debating the Gnu Imp Manipulation Program—Aria’s Barks

We had the same conversation for over 20 years.

Eirika, Princess of Renais 🩵 #FireEmblem #fanart

Eirika, the Princess of Renais, from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. She has her rapier, teal hair, red + white + yellow color scheme, her skirt and armor and an expression that shows she is ready for battle! Behind her is a sunset environment.

The "I don't love my country" Fire Emblem Lyn one pisses me off because her primary character trait is, in fact, love for her country AND the people in it.

I hate that awful Lyndis edit so much she would NOT say that!!! Lyn of all characters. Directly counter to who she is as a character and that edit exists anyway. It sucks so bad.

Beneath the Mask 2026 Happy 30th anniversary to Revelations: Persona!! This game means so much to me it's hard to put into words, so I decided to put it in a picture instead and thought of this! The background uses flowers from the "Creators Talking about Flower of Romance and Persona" interview.
