The fun of monster design for a little nonsense project is sometimes you want to draw a slime monster and wind up making a pizza guy wearing Jordan's

The funniest part of getting into cyberpunk and actually reading the rules for the ttrpg is explaining to my friends who only interacted with the video game and the anime what the slang like "Chooh" means.

If you're feeling down have a shonen screaming match at yourself for being a an idiot just sitting there. You'll get hours of work done only slightly hindered by the tears in your eyes.

Thats how she meets her extended cast. The main bad guy she fights should probably be someone thats opposite in her struggles and presents a problem she cant just automatically punch away, like say... the super healing factored maniac who intentionally wiped out his entire species, LOBO.

DisasterCheif @disasterchief.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

She could be staying with the Kent's and not really like it because Supe's well intentioned but misguided instinct is "well I loved it there so given some time Kara will learn to love it and Earth too." Maybe there's some kind of conspiracy that she has to stealth as an human to investigate and

DisasterCheif @disasterchief.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

An off earth adventure where she meets one character she can emphasize with and fucking Lobo doesnt really feel like a solution. I feel like an adaptation of the golden age status quo where her being on earth is a secret and shes sort of like supe's secret weapon would've been better. 2/whatever

DisasterCheif @disasterchief.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

SuperGirl is a frustrating movie to discuss because it has issues but I dont wanna sound like a chud. I think one of the most foundational is that Woman of Tommorow is bad choice for a debut. Kara's main issue is that she feels listless and that she has no one after her planet explodes. 1/2

So transformers is a toy franchise that reboots with each new wave. It has a history of building on the lore of previous entries with new elements as a game of lore telephone but since each transformers is a new baby's first transformers its not like you need to have seen ANY of the others to get it

games in which bars scale with the size of the value they represent are great because when your hp or stamina bar is all shriveled and small and impotent at the start it's really erotic

I took apart a weedWacker wasn't mine and since it was completely busted I had no fear of breaking the thing irrepably and just enjoyed the process of trying to the problem and then cleaning an exhaust screen that hadn't been cleaned in at least three years. (The damn thing works perfect now)

I think i really do enjoy tinkering but the problem is that if you break something it can cost a lot to fix it so I just get nervous and that ruins the curiosity that leads to the joy of discovery.

I went to go see Hathaway 2 with a friend who is pretty normie and has only seen the first movie and Gwitch and was expecting to have to answer a bunch of whispered questions in theater. Instead her only remarks were “they are all hoes” and “that’s so much mayonnaise” in equal disbelief.
