I am thrilled to share this work - with the brilliant @michelnivard.bsky.social and @omidvebrahimi.bsky.social - in which we outline a framework to more closely align psychiatric genetics and aetiological research with the dynamics and complexities of mental disorders 🎯

🆕 New pre-print! osf.io/preprints/ps... Are you satisfied with your life because you are satisfied with your friends, health, job, etc.? Or is it actually the other way around: are some people generally satisfied with their life and, because of this, satisfied with their friends, health, job, etc.?

⚠️ This BGA has turned out to be exceptionally popular with unprecedented numbers of submissions and people wanting to attend. We are now holding a waiting list for non-speakers (this includes symposia Chairs and Discussants) who have not yet registered.

New pre-print! 🎉 osf.io/preprints/ps... Leveraging rich longitudinal Netherlands Twin Register data, we tested whether we could boost wellbeing prediction by incorporating features that capture trends over time. Massive project led by the talented @daveleitritz.bsky.social. See his 🧵for a summary!

We have a new preprint: this work is especially dear to my heart, as it results from the data collection pipeline we established at the Netherlands Twin Register, which enabled us to collect Facebook posts and likes (paid for with plenty of blood, sweat, and tears...) osf.io/preprints/ps...

Help! I recently came across a paper on regression in a structural equation modeling framework where the authors argued that results should be contextualized by assuming different levels of (un)reliability of the variables (or something along those lines). Now I can't find it anymore! Anyone?
