Hi guys, who has done any work with DynamoDB-toolbox V1 yet? I’m struggling a bit with the methods, the table and entity construction. Everything is new and documentation isn’t helping in anyway. I actually need help with this new setup and the methods

This is even worse than the musician whose management hasn't responded to my queries and told me to "rush" them, but they'll get to me "eventually". I try to make room for people being busy but holy fuck I'm close to cussing someone out because of how unprofessional these people are.

Curious learning from today is that load from new user spikes is properly exponential. Not just n*log(n) like I kinda assumed. We were overprovisioned, but didn’t anticipate 10x load off only a <10% userbase growth.

No way! now is the time to give every account including new sign ups at least 2 invite codes each while you work on the performance or capacity issues.

For anyone keeping track, this isn’t even the first time they’ve completely broken the site by bumbling around in the rate limiter. There’s a reason the limiter was one of the most locked down internal tools. Futzing around with rate limits is probably the easiest way to break Twitter.
