As far as the reaction, it was def knee-jerk and over the top. A lot of ppl are sensitive + tense about claims regarding AI and water use on account of all the lies we got told. You did lead with a sentence that suggests yet another "debunking" of AI water use claims, a rather common genre of post.

If you don't like responses like this, the correct approach is to block them, or mute them. Making yourself the main character of the day about it makes me wonder about your motives, as it is an extremely ineffective approach if the goal is to see fewer antagonistic and/or irrational responses.
