P1-K The Boombox is an robot that plays music, wasn't really made for fight but got an upgraded after he was found and fixed by frwll's gang.

P1-K's muzzle can shape shift, usually it gives an extra audio visualizer effect when he plays songs! And he can use it to shape his muzzle to a normal mobian muzzle to "eat" or "drink". Speaking of it, of course the chest has a speaker!

His quills are NOT metal, they aren't fur either but its a material that mimics rubber and fur, the mini headphone on the ears has an icon, and it changes depending on what P1-K feels!

P1-K has a white jacket with a white hoodie and a huge red strip on the middle (bought by frwll as a gift!)

(most of these changes, the whole jacket, was inspired by Owari's first original design of P1-K! Also idk if it was unintentional for it to be called "Player" but Player1-K is his name due to being a... Music Player ofc!)

And that angle made it across. People recognized it was just me trying to reconcile with a past I wasn't proud of, and behaviors I was less proud. It felt very humanizing being seen like that, and I don't think that's a feeling I can get from a therapist. I still cry reading the positive replies. ❤️

I decided to tell the story the way I did to combat a stereotype, which is where people treat "healing" like there's a wrong way and a right way to do it. There are certainly wrong ways to deal with trauma, but there are no objectively correct ways to do it.

Starting like that felt dishonest. I didn't "finish" my therapy, and I didn't want to make anything up. I didn't want to lie and say "therapy fixed me" (because it didn't), nor did I want to send a message that it doesn't work. (Which can happen, and that's okay)

For a few builds (that I tossed), the wad did start at therapist's office. It was going to be dramatized as me telling my story to the therapist. However, I wasn't able to get the whole story out to him. I had to cancel due to financial reasons, on account of having to move back in with my parents.
