I quite like the Kaweco Medium. The nib is wet as hell and gives me nice solid lines no matter how fast I move. It's less scratchy than the Kakuno but that's probably as much to do with the extra fine tip than anything else.

A pen and ink illustration of Natasha Winter with one arm and one leg in the air. Next to her on the page are two fountain pens, a cyan Kaweco Medium and a clear Kakuno Extra Fine.

She has some history with it.

My Sonic fan character Mach H. Hedgehog, drawn by J. Axer for me, for free, for some reason, sometime around 1999. He's a red hedgehog with spiky bangs, brown shoes and vest, a chaos emerald shard pendant, and a gun years before Shadow made it cool.

Ah, I figured it was like Portfolio Day, which as far as I can tell is a randomly chosen day multiple times a year. Anyway if you like that map, get a load of the original that I'm basing it on. You can see I still have a lot of work to do.

Since today is apparently Planetary Mapmaking Day, enjoy this WIP image of Estavelle's world map. If you look at it right you may find that it looks vaguely familiar but I assure you it makes no scientific sense whatsoever.

A stylized image of a world map. The map itself is a stylized conic projection in a half circle with the north pole about a fifth of the way from the top. The continents look vaguely like earth's but all seem to have big chunks bitten out of them and none of them are in quite the right place, though it's hard to tell because of the distorted projection. Wavy blue lines trace across the northern and southern hemispheres. "THE WORLD" is written over the top and six mysterious symbols in circles line the bottom. It's all framed in a sparse frame because I haven't gotten to that part yet cut me some damn slack.
