Been struggling to write because what I'm writing isn't "important." But storytelling, by its nature, is important. Not just as escape, but as a way to feel seen. We love tales of fantastical journeys we'll never go on because we see glimpses of our own journey. So maybe writing is important.

In some states a notary public cannot make certified copies of public records (Connecticut for one), so you'd have to get a certified copy of your birth certificate through the vital records office where you were born, which can usually be done online

This is something I've learned from depression & chronic pain. There is no magic fix, they'll never go away but there are ways to make it easier. Cherish the good days, be gentle to yourself in the bad. Keep building your support network, gathering resources & fighting to improve what you can.
