I've been pulling out stitches from a quilt that's on my frame. I leave the light and seam ripper on the quilt when I take a break. Well this morning my special needs son (25) decided he didn't like them there!! He handed them both to me and then walked away happy as can be! 😆😆 #quiltsky

I get that. I don't know how I became so obsessed with it, lol. I'm still in the middle of this pattern that I started almost 3 years ago. Hoping to finish it this year! I keep thinking I want to make more of them, but I still haven't discussed l finished the first one!

That's why I made this!

Then there is a sash of gray covering the poster diagonally that says "POSTPONED"

I've been so focused this week on a few art pieces and quilts that I neglected my duties as an ally! Here are a few memes to make up for it!! #happypridemonth

I finally got my latest art piece done! This is going to SAQA for an online auction that will be happening in September. It's called "Having Fun at the Beach (aerial view)". 🥰 #SAQA #artquilts #quiltsky

My latest art quilt. It is an aerial view of the beach. There are colorful dots to represent people, white and orange beach umbrellas, white and green beach umbrellas, colorful rectangles to represent beach towels, and a surfboard out in the water. This was made with fabric, acrylic paint (for the beach) and water color pencils (for the water).

If you look at the friends I have, they are different religions, different ethnicities, and some represent different parts of the LGBTQ+ community. If you hate any of those groups, then we will never be friends. And you'll miss out on the awesomeness that is me! #pride

It is past time for bolder words. It is time for everyone to vote for equality in November. #Pride

Today is my 13th wedding anniversary! This amazing man is my partner in crime, best friend, and the best stepfather in the whole world! He is so supportive of all my crazy quilting and crafting ideas, including me taking over our living room for a 12 ft quilting frame! Here's to many more years!

I walked by the couch and had to stop and take a picture. Chewy must be comfortable, even if it doesn't look like it! For perspective, he's on the seat of the couch, I took the photo standing behind the couch. 😸

I can't believe I MADE FABRIC!! I've been learning about fabric design, and designed a few fabrics to sell on Spoonflower, here's my first sample! I'm going to keep working on my drawing and designing skills and make more fabric! Here's my Spoonflower shop: www.spoonflower.com/profiles/did...

My first fabric design. It has a cream colored background and 4 different types of flowers. They are blue, purple and burgundy and all have green leaves with the flowers. The bottom of the fabric shows the barcode and "Designed by: didi_sews_love" and "custom printed on: petal_signature_cotton".

I took a little social media break. It's just a bit much with the constant barrage of narcissism, hatred, and mental illness every day. I decided during my break I needed to make something joyful. This is a pattern by Sweet Pea Embroidery and I love it!! I am planning on making a bunch more!

My first time making the Unique-orn quilt in the smaller 30" x 40" size. Every time I sew one, I marvel that I could make something this beautiful. Thank you Helen (And Sew I on Insta/Facebook) for this creative and stunning pattern! Just need to remove the papers and quilt it! #FPP #QuiltSky

I wanted to go see Steve's show here in Orlando, but none of my friends could go.... So I dealt with my anxiety and went by myself. It was a fantastic show, the people at my table were so kind, and the meet and greet was interesting and well worth the ticket price. I'm so glad I went!
