I’ve been quiet this week… well it’s because I was in the hospital. I had my gallbladder removed and am now home recovering. Thankfully I have the most amazing husband who is taking care of me and Tuan!

I've been pulling out stitches from a quilt that's on my frame. I leave the light and seam ripper on the quilt when I take a break. Well this morning my special needs son (25) decided he didn't like them there!! He handed them both to me and then walked away happy as can be! 😆😆 #quiltsky

I've been so focused this week on a few art pieces and quilts that I neglected my duties as an ally! Here are a few memes to make up for it!! #happypridemonth

My latest art quilt. It is an aerial view of the beach. There are colorful dots to represent people, white and orange beach umbrellas, white and green beach umbrellas, colorful rectangles to represent beach towels, and a surfboard out in the water. This was made with fabric, acrylic paint (for the beach) and water color pencils (for the water).

If you look at the friends I have, they are different religions, different ethnicities, and some represent different parts of the LGBTQ+ community. If you hate any of those groups, then we will never be friends. And you'll miss out on the awesomeness that is me! #pride

Today is my 13th wedding anniversary! This amazing man is my partner in crime, best friend, and the best stepfather in the whole world! He is so supportive of all my crazy quilting and crafting ideas, including me taking over our living room for a 12 ft quilting frame! Here's to many more years!
