The perceived wisdom on here has been that the Labour leadership was bleeding votes to its left so was wrong to do anything that might placate potential Reform voters. Based on the election results overnight it would appear the leadership was right to fear Reform rather than the far left.

Apparently over at Big Elon’s place a petition is doing the rounds complaining they want a second chance at a general election because they weren’t happy with the result back in July! Thankfully it’s not here as however you vote a critical part of democracy is accepting the result when you lose.
