Nussbaum's FRAGILITY OF GOODNESS, which we read alongside Aeschylus's Agamemnon and Plato's Symposium, and Cavell's "Avoidance of Love", which we are reading with King Lear, are both so splendid. 130

What’s bad is teaching a specific canon as if it’s above history and somehow universal. The frame matters, as does what’s available beyond it. 417126
