Shindig! ‘64-‘65 Shindig! was conceived as a short-notice replacement for Hootenanny, a series which specialized in folk revival music. The folk revival had fizzled in 1964 as the result of the British Invasion.

Hootenanny -‘62-‘63 The show was taped at a college campus, and included the students on camera, singing and clapping along with the music. They staged the show as theater in the round, with the students seated on the floor or in bleachers with acts including Johnny Cash & Judy Collins

The Three Stooges American vaudeville and comedy troupe active from 1922 until 1970, best remembered for their 190 short-subject films by Columbia Pictures. Their hallmark styles were physical, farce, and slapstick comedy. (The fact that we survived this show w/o serious injuries is a miracle)

Mannix: ‘67-‘75 The series follows Joe Mannix, a private investigator known for his old-school, hands-on approach to solving crimes, often relying on his instincts, fists, and firearms rather than technology. (My mom thought he was hot stuff) (I thought he was old…looking back she was right!)

Mission Impossible ‘66-73 The series is about an elite group that specializes in intelligence. Receiving their mission via a tape that self destructs once it’s played. (as kids, we had a tape recorder that we recorded missions and since we couldn’t destroy it, we used a toilet flush. Still funny)

The Mod Squad crime drama series, originally broadcast ‘68-‘73 Starring Michael Cole as Peter "Pete" Cochran, Clarence Williams III as Lincoln "Linc" Hayes, Peggy Lipton as Julie Barnes, and Tige Andrews as Captain Adam Greer. ( These were the coolest kids on tv & we dreamed of being one of them)

The Shhh Show was a local kids program produced in Rochester, NY It aired in the late 60’s and early 70’s, on Sunday mornings right after the test pattern, and encouraged kids to be quiet and watch old cartoons & The Three Stooges so they wouldn’t wake their parents. Ha! The test pattern.

We watched the original “Adventures of Superman”(1952-1958) reruns on Saturday & I have scars to prove my love of the show. I believed that I was faster than a speeding bullet and tried to run through a closing glass door. In my defense I was 4 and my arm stitches to this day look like a caterpillar

Hogan’s Heroes 1965-1971 Hogan's Heroes is an American sitcom set in a German POW camp during World War II, focusing on Allied prisoners conducting espionage and sabotage under the nose of their inept captors. This is the show that made me fall in love with Richard Dawson and his British accent
