My father and his partner travelled to Ottawa from Nova Scotia this week. They are at the game with my sister! I am jealous! (Went to more than a few games with the elder statesman of the family back in the day). Go Sens Go!

NYC flea market vinyl shopping. Scored some high quality albums in mint condition (including one original pressing). Gonna culture my son with some of the music from my youth, all of which was made with analogue equipment and not one note of auto tune.

Happy International dog day! Meet Louis! He is a Golden Doodle, though he is trimmed short due to the summer heat out in Kelowna. He loves food, though he is a bit of a food snob, but he really loves hiking and climbing, running and exploring and also cuddling when he is on his downtime.

Rough flight home. Stuck for 3 hours on the taxiway at JFK during a ground stop. A storm rolled in and slammed the place. The Aircraft was seriously shaking. And then all the phones lit up with a tornado warning. We took off much later but apparently a tornado did touch down 3 miles from JFK. Crazy

Out on a taxiway at JFK airport. A storm rolled in and we are on a ground stop. Gonna be parked a while as the pilots shut down the engines and turned on the APU. Hopefully we get to take off after this long ground stop and we don’t return to the gate. (You should see the airport in these photos)

NYC subway advertising for a law firm. This is in the 28th street station by my office. Imagine the marketing meeting that came up with this. (And the graphic artists reaction when they were asked to make it) I am both awestruck and mystified.
