I bought this before I found out the issue was a disappointment. It’s also the only graded and slabbed comic I own, purely to celebrate my own decades long fandom. I stand by this choice.

I absolutely love this variant cover. I am….so disappointed by this issue. If they had given more time to the main story, MAYBE this could have been memorable. But I’ve thought about issue 1000 for a long time and this…this was not it. This was…just another story. And part TWO of a bigger story

Reading ASM #29 and Daredevil #3 back-back-back essentially has been a great time, because both issues have the title character being taught by the guest how to manage their super senses/spider-sense and live in balance and I don’t know if this was intentional or coincidence

So after trying Hades 2 I decided I needed to ACTUALLY beat Hades. After over a month of trying, I was able to finally get through 10 successful runs. May try to get the epilogue, but damn, was I feeling bleak there for awhile. Very satisfying to finally get that ending.

Well that was certainly not at all what I was hoping. There was one kind of cool twist to the SH2 story, but overall, this was a big disappointment. The first movie, while crazy, did a good job of also slowly telling a story. This was a lot of noise. Big bummer.

After watching “Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice”, we decided to try Grabinski’s movie “Happily”. VERY different style and tone, but for a dark comedy about relationships, it was also strangely positive about them as well? A more indie feel for sure, but one to watch if you’re looking for weird/surreal
