Happy #LearningDisabilityWeek This is my older brother Sangeet. He is funny, anxious, kind, needy, loving, annoying and lots of other things. He has intellectual and learning disabilities. He loves music, detective shows, Indian food, James Bond and meeting people.

The plants survived and the shoots of new growth I can see appearing full me with happiness and hope. It’s hard to know if you’ve made the right decisions but I like to believe that Mum and Dad are letting me know that it’s all OK

A rose plant transplanted from my late parents garden with no flowers or leaves, but starting to get shoots of new growth in the branches.

Said goodbye to my childhood home today. Bittersweet, stressful and a long time coming. Been hard to do this and support my bro with LD through this big transition, but we’re getting there. Hope my parents’ dream house is as happy a home for the new family that lives there now as it was for us.
