I'm seconding Seannan's remarks. Using a scooter at a convention in Anaheim and then at Disneyland made a trip that should have been about pain management and immobility actually... fun again. I cannot urge mobility impaired folks (like me) strongly enough, at a big event, rent a scooter.

The first time I used a scooter was at Disneyland about 4 years ago. For the first time the park wasn't a nightmare of navigating between benches, low retaining walls and open chairs sixty feet at a time. Back in the hotel room, I cried for 2 hours because there was no AGONY. I'd had FUN.
