Fuck. My brother isn't doing well. His kidneys are failing. I'll probably need to go home soon. His birthday is Wednesday. He'll be 60. I hope he gets there. Fuck cancer. Fuck this administration for cutting research and crippling an already inadequate health care system. Fuck.

So yesterday was a bad pain day. All my joints ached followed by nerve pain flare right before bed. Felt like a shawl of prickly hot pain on my shoulders and back. Today, I woke up feeling bruised. Like I did battle in my sleep. #ChronicallyIll #ChronicPain

My brother had a brain lesion. It was treated with a gamma knife procedure! So cool to be living in the future. His prognosis is excellent. Just for this. The fucking colo-rectal cancer is still a menace. Btw, my dad had a brain tumor back in the 1980s. Treatment was less precise.

I had COVID years ago but this time is worse. I masked pretty consistently until that one time. Never again. I have mild asthma and I hope that remains the case post recovery. I hope any damage is minimal. I have enough to cope with already. #CovidChronicles #CovidCautious
