Opened three booster bundles today and got some good stuff, even if Jirachi and Gholdengo are dupes Really happy to pull Celebi (the original is my favorite card) but still feels weird that I’ve opened 52 packs so far and haven’t seen a futuristic rare but oh well! Good stuff!

Years back I played through Platinum and even shiny hunted a Rotom successfully but I wasn’t drawn in. It felt like I was crossing a game off a checklist. Someday I’ll go back, I’ll figure it out

Diamond and Pearl came out eight months after Hurricane Katrina and I just hadn’t gotten back into the groove of Having a Normal Life at that point so I missed out on Pokemon until Heart Gold grabbed me by the neck and pulled me back in

I don’t get how I can frolic around in Hoenn and in Heart Gold for hours just having a good time but thinking about doing so in Sinnoh gives me an allergic reaction I want to acquire a taste for the snow and stone and piano land

I have been informed that Sinnoh Exposure Therapy was exclusive to the years 2006-2008 and I have missed the boat. The doctor is OUT Well NWOW WHAT

I want to like Diamond and Pearl I think I need Sinnoh exposure therapy

Eureka! I’ve figured it out! The Pokemon Legends: ZA DLC was underwhelming because it didn’t have a brand-new, plot-important “Li’l Feller”

He’s a classic and the garish holo pattern looks really good on him!

Naw they gave out some freebies for their restock today and it included a plastic card holder that just looks like a slab. You can put whatever card you want inside

Basically just a glorified restock drop with some freebies. It was advertised as an “event”

Today’s packs were kind to me in exchange for having to wait outside of a store for five hours

Karen should have been the Champion in GSC with an ace Tyranitar. Lance could have either still been the fourth Elite 4 member or a Johto-side secret boss at the Lake of Rage

I’ve been playing Zelda games since I was a wee 90s boy and somehow it took me until Today to realize the Ocarina of Time title theme uses the Zelda 1/Mario 3 whistle jingle
