The streaming platform Twitch announced that Amazon is using Twitch users’ personal data to train AI models. Users who do not want Amazon to use their streams, images and other personal data can now opt out from this feature. The Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (AP), the Dutch data protection authority, is urging people to do so.

Twitch is an online video streaming platform and a subsidiary of Amazon. People mainly use it to live-stream the video games they are playing, whilst being on camera themselves as well. Other people can watch and chat with each other. The AP is concerned about Amazon using user data to train AI models.

The more I ponder what Mary said here, I think it is VERY important for those who don't like this EVEN IF YOU DON'T STREAM and want to send a message to Amazon on where the Twitch community falls in the genAI discussion to go in their settings and turn this off. The metrics are what speaks to them.

I’m making a browser extension called Safe Badge to let you know which Twitch streamers have disabled Gen AI training. This is an honor system as there’s no way to verify it. But it’s better than nothing. The extension isn’t finished yet but you can give yourself the badge here: safebadge.ori.mx

What I can recommend most of all is looking at other Firebot scripts/plugins as examples. There's a bunch on github (and listed in the scripts channel in discord) that integrate various things like donation services and more. Script dev is done in Typescript/JS so prior knowledge really helps there.

Your best bet is to ask in the crowbartools discord server as there's a lot more people there to answer questions and share examples etc. Especially since command creation is a very broad term. did you mean system commands or custom commands? what's the end goal of your commands?
