Interesting that BBC's Nick Robinson asked ex NatWest chair Howard Davies 8.21am "the argument that being made by opposition parties 'just drill [fossil fuels] now', would that help?" Answer: "No. That's political point scoring." The missing info is, who is funding these parties.

My news today.. at 60 l was employed as a support worker... On a 16 HR contract... Today at almost 62 I've just had my contract to upped 24 per week... I'm buzzing means l maybe can relax a bit... Thanks for reading x

My cousin's daughter died suddenly in June this year Today a local newspaper told us she died from alcohol intoxication which was down to her anemia my cousin wasn't given time to tell us @newsandstar she was never a drinker and never got to complete her journey love to Jenna #forever20

Yes! No child should go hungry - we are, as a rule, a generous nation and charities do so much to support those in need but at last the Govt is helping to feed the children and I am thankful for that. A big change from the last self-serving Govt.

I met my MP this morning at an open forum and he pointed out something very interesting which l agree with.... Many businesses are underpaying/ offering reduced contract hours to their staff and the government is subsidising the wages of these people to meet the shortfall,

2 weeks ago HMRC informed me that l was due a rebate (didn't work for a few months, did not claim benefits) l received it 2 days later 🥳 today l got a letter from HMRC stating l owed them tax because l received a rebate... Our wonderful tax system 🥴

I have no kids but just before my sister died my niece was born, she got me through my loss and lve made sacrifices for her, 6 months ago l bought her the latest iPhone for college, today she mocked me for buying a cheap new smartphone, tomorrow we will have a chat about why l can't afford an iphone

Crazy that we hear about Train Drivers who get £60,000 a year for driving a train. But we never hear about the boss of Tesco who gets £30,000 a day and doesn't even pay tax in the UK. Or the £250m a day that the likes of Amazon, Vodafone, BP and Shell don't pay in tax.
