Commission for @kathrynthehuman.bsky.social #thelegendofzelda #ocarinaoftime #ganondorf
Artwork depicting the character "Ganondorf" from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998), as he appears in the adult era of the game. The artwork is drawn in a manga-like style with rich red-tinted colours and black shadows. In the image, Ganondorf is seen from a slightly low angle as he walks toward the viewer. His head is turned in profile, wearing a somewhat sombre expression as he gazes upward to the light that shines upon him. His right hand is held out in front of his chest with fingers curling in a claw-like manner. On the back of his hand, the triforce of power glows visibly. His cape frames the lower half of his body, and from below, embers rise around him.

Thank you, Cedar! This was a blind commission, meaning the client actually had no idea what I was making, which was a first for me! Quite fun actually.

Every time you make a post that sounds like a despairing poet over a mundane problem (like tablecloth) it makes me laugh. I think these are legitimately my favourite posts on any platform.

Decided to digitally colour (and correct) this old traditional artwork from 2021.
Artwork depicting the characters Link, Tatl, Mikau, Darmani and The Butler's Son from the game "The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask" by Nintendo.
The artwork is drawn in a manga'esque style, using both traditional media and digital media. It is heavy with colour.
In the artworkm Link is seen walking outwards toward the viewer from a slight bird's perspective. He is holding the Mask of Truth up against his face, obscuring half of said face, making it seem as though he is peeking out behind. Behind him, a cloud of purple smoke rises with three figures - Mikau, Darmani and the Butler's son - three souls that Link obtains Masks from in the game.
Link seems to be walking in water, as rings spread from under his feet. In the depths lurks a massive Majora's Mask turned upside down.
The fairy Tatl flies between the souls and out in front of Link, guiding his way.

Also, some pieces have been brightened (Cannibal, The Witness, Shield, The Fugitive, Forest Temple and Love Psalm) and should hopefully print better now. Thank you to everyone who sent me pictures of their prints - none of you ever complained, but I felt many came out too dark. Hope this solves it.

I am still, and probably always will be, completely stunned by how beautiful this one is. The strings on the edges of the cloth is one thing, but the values around his face and the shadow over his eyes, his practically black lips. It's *all* such a mesmerising combination of choices.

Decided to colour my first DE drawing cause I needed to wind down. (Insp: Miami Disco - Pertubator) #discoelysium #kimkitsuragi #harrydubois
Artwork depicting the characters "Kim Kitsuragi" and "Harry du Bois" from the video game "Disco Elysium". The artwork is drawn in a style bearing resemblance to that of the game, but with a more anime'esque twist and dramatic perspective.
In the drawing, Kim wears a serious expression while raising his gun. He seems to be about to take action. Meanwhile his partner Harry leans backwards, wearing a wide grin and having his right hand raised in a finger-gun fashion, mimicking a readied firearm.
The artwork is overlayed with a VHS-like distortion and filter, and accented by pink and cyan hues, as well as chromatic aberration.

Thank you very much 💚 Mr. Door is by far my favourite of the game. He completely stole the show for me, even though the contest is tough with the Anderson brothers and Ahti there as well

Are you thinking a particular old style look? Like is it an old technique you are thinking of, or is it more an old theme you would go for? It sounds lovely either way.

Thank you! I did worry that I made it too clean, honestly, cause especially with the blur effects, it's hard to see the brush strokes. I'm considering whether I should post each individual portrait later, just so they get the chance to actually be seen as they were made.

Thank you so much, Ikari! I'm glad you think so, cause at a certain point, I had stared at his many faces so many times that they started looking like different people haha Made me worried I wasn't capturing his likeness. Tunnel visioned very badly.

In Between With Mr. Door 🌃 (This painting took me a whole month) #warlindoor #alanwake2 #martinhatch #remedyentertainment
Artwork depicting the character "Warlin Door" from the video game "Alan Wake 2" by Remedy Entertainment. In the painting, Mr. Door is sitting in a dark void, smiling in a welcoming albeit eerie manner, with his hands folded in his lap. From around his upper body, 5 spectral versions of him sprawl out like a wide collar - each wearing different expressions ranging from silly to serious. One such spectre looks distinctly like "Martin Hatch" from the video game Quantum Break - another title in Remedy's universe.

Artist! Quote with your yellow art! 💛
Artwork depicting a close up of the character "Klaasje Amandou" from the game "Disco Elysium", drawn in a style resembling that of the game, but coloured entirely in green-tinted black and yellow. In the picture, Klaasje is glancing over her shoulder directly at the viewer, as though she has noticed our intrusive staring.

A "first person view" crude drawing of a beady eyed ragdoll cat putting a single paw on the viewer's thigh.

I get what you mean. I'm 170, which is considered average to my knowledge, but constantly hear I am short. And I mean, in Denmark I probably am.
010
Echo @denimecho.bsky.social · 09/07/2026
Ha! Then I guess mine is how I Wish I saw most people 😆 Genuinely, though, I guess if you are *very* short, it actually could play a part.

Echo @denimecho.bsky.social · 09/07/2026
Haha I see, I see. Honestly, now that you put it that way, I think I am the same, just opposite. I am pretty good at drawing from above, but get very confused by the perspective of below angles. It's interesting to see other peoples "art habits" ✌️
110
Echo @denimecho.bsky.social · 08/07/2026
This is no criticism - I've noticed this angle repeat in many of your pieces. Seeing it now made me wonder if this specific angle is one you really like, Karina? What is it about it that entices you?👀 (Needless to say, I have angles that I really like to draw too.)

Echo @denimecho.bsky.social · 23/06/2026
There's definitely no harm in trying, and remember that anything you try will feel really unintuitive at first, so give it a few tries before you conclude it definitively doesn't work 💪
020
Echo @denimecho.bsky.social · 23/06/2026
I can't speak for everyone's method, but it's about a sort of shift in focus. Instead of "i I'm drawing a skull", it can help to think "there's a circle here. There's a half circle under it. There's a cylinder there. This kinda looks like a triangle". Does that help?
