"And you're sure you don't want me to take it out?" He asks you when it pauses to breathe.

"I'm sure." You get out before you cover your ears again. "Don't you have a sigil or a spell to block out the noise?"

"The ones I know are for evading eavesdroppers, not full on noise cancellation." He glares at the balcony door as the owl starts up the next wave of screams. Your head is pounding.

"Gods below, who knows how the others are handling this…" Your sister is in a nearby room, Alfor's room beside hers.

"This has got to stop." Keith growls as he paces around. His wings refuse to settle down around his shoulders as they normally do.

"I bet Shiro and Allura can hear it too…"

"The whole damn castle can hear it." He promises.

"It sounds like it's dying."
