You would think a military filled with "the best male warriors on Earth" could actually win a war. Better yet: the best President ever could avoid them. Ah Hegseth, you idiot.

If you give his posts a Mean Girl voice, it's almost more coherent. What if we find out one day they were all just Natalie Harp channeling her protective frustrations while he sleeps? In the morning, he can't remember typing them but feels really clever that he's just that good.

I hear that the cell where Epstein passed away is available. For Trump's name and occupance.

I would say that American journalists finally found their balls and integrity, but in a 24-hr news cycle, they'll likely forget them tomorrow.

Imagine reviewing a 21-yr old absurdist play and saying it's no longer absurd enough for today's reality. That says more about the state of today's journalism and politics than of @ericidle.bsky.social 's contributions. What next. Full page dissertation on the different intonations of Ni?

When NPR coverage of the President's reasoning reads like The Onion, invoking the 25th should be front page material from that point on.

Your username says Science matters. As in, facts matters. The fact is, Mitch McConnell hid from public view his inability to represent his constituents for 3 months. The fact is, present day evidence shows he's incapacitated. The fact is, he should resign. The facts, and science, support this.

Good luck with that. He just had Congress leave to avoid Epstein and Hegseth votes. Can't really launch a new anything until they get back... after the midterms.

How many media outlets do you have to ban before the remaining outlets are considered state-run media? Like in communist countries such as North Korea and China. Asking for a MAGA friend.

It's not shoddy journalism when the video & evidence are provided by every. Single. Outlet. The man should be at home, resting & being cared for given his – universally shown – extremely reduced capacity. Polio paralysis does not care about shoddy journalism or punditry. It exists.

Watching a man slowly die in front of the cameras as his barely functioning body is wheeled around for photo ops – all to prevent proper democratic representation – isn't a right or a left bias. Arguing it's acceptable is morally and ethically wrong. Do better.

Stop this. The man disappeared from public & office. The media, today, is prohibited from video recording him. This isn't a conspiracy. This is real life. Human life. Mitch McConnell is physically & cognitively unfit for office. Any other view is elder abuse. It's unhealthy. It's morally wrong.

I could give two hoots about conspiracy theories. If an employee disappears for 3 whole months and doesn't give evidence that they're alive, they get replaced. He wasn't a janitor. He was the Senate Republican Leader for 18 years, and once in control of the Senate itself. Disappearing is bullshit.

Anyone else who has taken care of family or friends with Alzheimers expects to be forgotten at some point. The more people keep pretending Trump's cognitively stable, the worse it is for him & for them. Personal profit vs the 25th Amendment. That answer alone tells you who is fit to represent us.

You know what precludes someone from serving in Congress? Them suddenly being absent from Congress & existence itself for 3 months. No American should have to ever wonder for 3 months straight if their elected official is still alive or able to represent them. It's not just abnormal. It's wrong.

You forgot: $100 million in campaign donations he used for personal or business legal fees. $28 million in campaign donations forwarded to Trump family businesses. Over $30 million spent at Trump properties by domestic and foreign politicians. And that's not including the insider trading.

The US media's response to a film's evidence on Israel's targeting of civilians? Report on the directors possibly losing the citizenship for being brave enough to bring the evidence to light. In no way talk about the evidence itself. Can't risk being anti-Israeli by calling out Israeli war crimes.

Israeli official calls for directors of "NAZA" documentary alleging use of AI in Gaza to have nationality revoked
The documentary "NAZA" includes interviews with purported Israeli intelligence officers who claim the systematic use of AI-powered targeting systems in Gaza.

You could fully fund the renovation costs by selling commemorative unredacted copies of each Epstein page with Trump's name on it. Oh. He only likes his name attributed to things he'll never understand? Art, culture, compassion? Gotcha. So... Trump branded Depends?

You show commitment to the American political system & its populace by removing from office the guy who's trying to systematically pillage & destroy it. No one said, "Hey, these southern slave owners shooting at us? They need to be reasoned with." Or, "That King taking our resources? Decent guy."

When you are the new extreme of an established spectrum, it's not always a good thing. Trump established three: stupidity, corruption, child rapist. Now, you would think that last one isn't a moral spectrum. GOP leadership & white Christian nationalism decided otherwise. They can fuck right off.

If laws don't address SBLOCs as income, then no mega-wealthy MAGA will ever pay a "fair" tax level. Tax inheritance after $1 million. Tax SBLOCs. Tax progressively. The ultra wealthy are rebuilding feudalism while calling it democracy, with politicians and pundits eating at their trough. Enough.
