They call it “Project 2025.” Let’s call it what it is: slavery 2.0. Brown & Black people deported. Poor whites enslaved under “debtor laws.” All while elites rule under Christian nationalism. This isn’t heritage, it’s fascism with a Bible cover.

I don't find any of the "clanker" shit funny why are so many of you guys so desperate to have an excuse to perfectly mirror racism against black people. You people are fucking weird and I don't like you. I don't care that robots aren't people, you shouldn't be so excited to act like this.

So great catching up with Trent, Atticus, Robin, Alessandro, Josh, + many other friends, colleagues, fans. A perfect night, Steph and I had a blast. I got to enjoy a NIN show purely as a fan for the first time since 1995, and they played The Perfect Drug! That never happened during my 15yrs with NIN

Friend group held did presentations about whatever we felt like talking about today. Spent 9 hours on mine (about the queer history of various industrial bands/musicians). I was the only one that didn't get to present bc one friend interrupted everyone else's too much. Definitely not upset about it.

my latest NIN remix contest tasked people with reimagining The Slip in the style of Broken! A grand total of 17 remixes by members of their discord community, completely free on bandcamp! I was in charge of organising, all the art and track sequencing. nindiscordance.bandcamp.com/album/the-br...

THE SLIP IS KNOWN FOR ITS GARAGE-ROCK AND AGGRESSIVE STYLE.

BUT WHAT IF IT TOO, WAS RECORDED IN SECRET IN SPITE OF AN EVIL RECORD LABEL?

FOR DISCORDANCE'S THIRD REMIX ALBUM, IT'S UP TO YOU TO INTERPRET HOW THE SLIP WOULD SOUND IN THE STYLE OF BROKEN.

WHAT IF TRENT'S RAGE BURNED EVEN HOTTER IN 2008?
THE ANGER, THE HATRED, THE AGGRESSION AND THE HORROR.
NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO REIMAGINE IT.

Banned/challenged books are often difficult reads with jarring content, but we can't shield ourselves nor our children from the realities of the world forever - it's better to build empathy and understanding through books, especially by reading books by/about marginalized people.
