I'm so busy translating Magical Explorer that I totally forgot to start watching the anime adaptation that started this season.

Ah yes, a joke focused around incorrectly shortening a hiragana phrase into a romaji abbreviation, why thank you I would like to die.

Man, I sure love when I make translation choices based on little to no context only to have them invalidated and proven incorrect *thirteen* volumes down the line.

My mind is in a very weird place because my father-in-law is coming to spend five days with us to meet his grandsons for the first time--but also me, since after almost ten years of marriage, I've still never met the guy. Very bizarre situation.

I get why they did it, but it's kinda depressing to see how on The Ocean's newest album, they split up all the long songs into multiple tracks for the major streaming platforms. Thankfully their 17-minute mid-album epic is untouched on Bandcamp, the ever-reigning king.

If open world Kirby has the same kind of "do anything you can think of" design as BotW/TotK with the copy powers, that game is going to be amazing. Can't wait to play it in 2031 when I can afford a switch 2.

The new winners song they added for the CM finals in Umamusume is such a wild amount of production value for essentially an ego-stroking feature. Not to throw shade or anything since it definitely made me feel very Rickey! ☆ Lucky! ☆ Happy!

Screenshot of the mobile game Umamusume Pretty Derby. The character Copano Rickey is pointing up at the sky with smirk on a concert stage. At the top is has the the text "2026 Champions Meeting Virgo Cup Champion," while on the bottom it says "1st Copano Rickey" and my username "deijoubu."

Literally counting down the days until I can justify reading it as a bedtime story to my boys. The original argument is so stupid though because kids absorb so much language so easily that if the Hobbit really was so difficult (it's not) they honestly should read it when they're younger.
