It's a cool board for experimentation, but I wouldn't buy it nowadays. It's too expensive for the performance that you get out of it. Cool if you have it to run some insanely parallel program, but I wouldn't get it just for that

SD Cards are unfortunately a giant pain in the rear, especially if you power them off suddenly. But my main gripe is the video stack being pretty unstable, especially at resolutions over full HD.

One thing that I really hate about the whole #cloudnative ecosystem, nothing is simple anymore. Deploying a project requires applying five helm charts, three domains, and at the I have another dashboard 😐 I guess I don't see the full picture yet, but it feels like a lot of process & churn

oh and the memory usage 🫣 I've seen rust projects that would oom my 64 GB laptop. To be fair, I only had 32 GB free memory and started 16 compilation threads, but the final linking steps were devastating (and oomd quickly got rid of them)
