Had a share in a horse, Battleoverdoyen, who finished fifth in the Topham Chase (2m 6f) over the National fences a few years ago giving us a great thrill. Went on to win the Galway Blazers the following year at the Galway festival. That’s him in the white cap

in case Irish people don't know the context, Stan Cullis played for and managed Wolverhampton Wanderers. in 1938 he objected to a proposed Nazi salute by 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 players before a game vs 🇩🇪 and was dropped from the side. he's a club legend at Wolves, the Stan Cullis Stand was where I sat last weekend
