This is true. Living in the Windsor-Essex area, this is talked about a lot! The tool and die industry in this area has taken a huge hit. Many of the shops here have orders on both sides of the border. The logistics of working around the tariffs are having negative impacts on auto parts shops.

I asked for a "Dorothy Hamill" cut when I was about 8yrs old. The hair stylist left me with a very uneven cut. Maybe my head was crooked in the bowl she used? 😬😆 Had to go back and have it evened out... which then looked NOTHING like Dorothy Hamill's! ... which left me in tears again. 😩

That's so funny! Reminds me of our old lab/boxer mix. He went across the road and would randomly bring a shoe home from the neighbours and put in "his hole" he dug behind a bush. I caught him a few times. Animals are so weird... but amazing. 🐾

Wow... 1st experience using @ontariohealth.bsky.social.Tried twice to do symptom check online... disconnected 1st time, 2nd time it couldn't find symptoms. Called telehealth. Call centre screener took basic info. Nurse will call back...in 5 hrs! Gotta love possible emergency healthcare on a Friday

I understand, but my point was that even Mucci Farms has greenhouses in the U.S... in Ohio. Nature Fresh also started in Leamington and also have greenhouses in Ohio. Nature Fresh donates a lot of money back into the community, just like Mucci.

My dad helped to develop insurance packages specific for greenhouse operators in the 90's. He walked through many houses. He had to take special precautions if visiting more than 1 operation/day. Contamination prevention was #1. PPE was required. Masks, shoe covers & coveralls. All very controlled.

I live in S.W. Ontario, many greenhouse operations here. Nature Fresh, Cielo Vista, TopLine, and Lakeside Produce are also big growers. Just a reminder that some greenhouse operators that started in the Leamington or Kingsville area... like Mucci, also have operations in Michigan and/or Mexico.
