The Oilers are probably (probably!) going to pull off the win here but they still can’t play a full 60 minutes. They’ve mostly stopped getting chances since late in the first and especially since that 4th goal. Probably good enough tonight.

People saying this is a Knoblauch coaching thing and I honestly don’t know if it’s that or a team that’s tired and injured and are hoping to do ‘just enough’ and hold on because they don’t have gas in the tank. Or maybe both. Either way, it might work tonight but not a great plan long-term.
