Started watching The Stand and Matt Frewer's character was definitely a big highlight of that series, despite being a tiny role There's some Stephen King stuff that haven't aged well, and certain effects are cringe, but I like it so far. On the last episode 😬

Will do a proper drawing later, but Coyote VS. ACME is out today in theaters (go see it!). I'm still a tad bummed that I almost got to freelance on it, Coyote was my favorite character to draw on the LooneyTunesCartoons shorts, but I'm so glad for my colleagues who did! Here's a few of my Coyotes:

I got *really* really close to one thing in my fanfiction, kind of, although it doesn’t work the same way,, ughh Being vague on purpose here

Cat @deadpossumco.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

I realized that due to some important updates involving the lost mh script that I now own that the fanfiction that I’ve been writing has to be an alternative universe in order to work… or I scrap a major part of the story and start rewriting it to fit in the canon. Something something monkey’s paw

Cat @deadpossumco.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Unfortunately, that is all that I feel comfortable revealing here. It came as a present and I don’t want to overstep any boundaries or leak any big details. It pays to be an annoying fan, I suppose. A summary write-up will be included in the archives when that is published (TBA).

Cat @deadpossumco.bsky.social · 09/08/2026

Without revealing too much information, I now own a digital copy of the lost Max Headroom script that was in production when the show was cancelled… and it would have been amazing. I have to refocus my energy on other matters for the rest of the month. (Ugh!) But this is one mystery solved.

Thank god Frewer isn’t on social media (I think) The man is so computer adverse it’s almost ironic at this point. If he saw the amount of people wanting a Max Headroom ai chat bot I’m sure he’d crash out, and fairly so! I just hope that wasn’t the reason why the 2022 reboot was cancelled.

Still need to watch Psi Factor and Taken (2002) I heard good things about both 🤔 I'm not ready to watch stuff where he *looks* older,, sniff Watched 6ix and I could not connect that that was the same guy but in a bad way... he sounds the same! So that's good at least ;w;

Cat @deadpossumco.bsky.social · 30/07/2026

The tonal whiplash from watching Matt Frewer in Max Headroom to Doctor Doctor should be studied, these are two totally different guys?? He plays a creep in Supergirl, I would fold for him anyways 🥲 This man has so much range, it's downright criminal that he didn't get cast in more starring roles

If that wasn't enough, there's one notable case of him I've seen of him copying user Bluekoa's artwork just after an hour of their art being posted. It's still obvious he copied the original poster's artwork just going by the cake and party hat colours alongside the yellow-text-on-blue background.

I think I figured out which episode it was used in and if I'm right, it's literally my favorite episode of the show too!!!!

Cat @deadpossumco.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

Literally shaking, I own something from this little show that was Literally worn by one of the actors on screen, that somehow was kept and stored for 40 years and looks amazing and aghh I want to frame it with a publicity still from the show or a print of the main cast or SOMETHING 🥺

Deep cut followers might remember the first fursuit I owned- Bongo! This suit was sold a few years ago and changed to a jackalope with little antlers. Last time I checked, it was being sold again on Mercari. I hope all my old suits go on some really fun adventures with their new owners!

040

Cat @deadpossumco.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

My other two fursuits are also owned by different folks now! Milo went to a local Ohio fur - and you might have spotted him at Anthrocon and at local Cleveland meets. Akiko (who has been changed/modified) was also sold to a furry in Michigan! If you see them, I am no longer behind the fur!

Cat @deadpossumco.bsky.social · 18/07/2026

BTW, since I've had dms I sold Reggie's 1.0 suit on the right to a local Ohio fur earlier this year so y'all might see it at cons- I am not in that suit! That is not me! My new fursuit head (made by uk93_studios) is the one on the left- that's me! I'm the only one who will ever wear his 2.0 suit!
