The failure of my "marketing" to function is more an indictment of the avenues to spotlighting indie games to notice what I was doing, or less charitably, to support a game that is gay. It's an elephant in the room that I try not to notice. I just pretend there is no structural element here.

Posted about it on Twitter, but I figured I should talk about it here, too. CQ Act 2 is underperforming to a really disappointing degree. I'm considering my options moving forward, but it's looking very grim for my ability to continue working on games going forward.

I can now say with confidence, this trailer came out way better than I anticipated. I am not a video editor, but I really pushed hard to make sure I did the best I could possibly do. Huge inspiration from Spelunky 2's original gameplay trailer.

I've been working on a custom soundfont to ship along with this thing, as well as some advanced features like burst mode. It'll let you idle a disc for a specified number of revolutions and then spin a specified number of times. Think I'm nearing the max amount of features I want this to have!

I can't suggest Carter's Quest enough. It's so well made and so fun and it's made by a single person which is just so wild to me for the scope of this game. Just a great time and it's getting a massive update soon. Highly suggest checking it out.
