@harald As I understand ndp-proxy, it passes messages across the network, spreading SLAAC addresses from the same prefix over both links. That *would* work routing-wise, but it would make the setup a bit more tightly-coupled than I like. I don't know if I want to marry those networks forever […]

#IPv6 confusion: can a router advertise that there's a #network on the other side? Without handing out any addresses? I want to join 2 ULAs on 2 separate links: A/64 and B/64. The host routes between links and has A:1/64 and B:1/64. This host is *not* the default router, so I can't set up the […]

@etam How fast is it compared to stock firmware? I did the same but now it's 3-10 times as slow, barely useable. (If you include random turning off, not useable.) I wonder if it has anything to do with the SD card I'm using.

A circuit board with a smaller board soldered on in the center. The smaller board is covered with gray metal and says ESPRESSIF. Golden, and it has no solder mask. It's all scratched and with splotches of solder around. A resistor is standing on its side. There is a USB port and several free cables attached to spots on the other side. @chrysn Not DIO, but DOI, as in another subthread - you can't just get one for your fediverse post. I guess it's correct that URI doesn't need to be based on DNS, but then it just becomes a transport protocol for whatever data you want on top. The good things (and bad) come from the URI being […]

@chrysn I'm a bit wary about URLs because not everything needs to be based on DNS. If you hold any data at all at the URL, you have to deal with squatting, expiration, maintenance, and you also either have to find a host (and DIO shows that it's not really a thing) or doxx yourself to get the […]
