A circuit board with a smaller board soldered on in the center. The smaller board is covered with gray metal and says ESPRESSIF. Golden, and it has no solder mask. It's all scratched and with splotches of solder around. A resistor is standing on its side. There is a USB port and several free cables attached to spots on the other side. One soldered directly on another component.

Almost all of the area is copper, the substrate only occasionally. One of the boards shows "v3.2.2". There don't seem to be any unintentional breaks or bridges.
