I'm retired. I admit to missing some of the ways work gave me a chance to use my head. But for much of the population, I think talking about the dignity of work is really about the dignity of having a paycheck and money for your life. Lottery winners don't lose their dignity by not working.

I look at a president who claims unlimited power, ignoring the law and all checks and balances. A House that does his bidding, surrendering the power of the purse. A DOJ that thinks their role is to go after one man's perceived enemies while protecting him from scandal. It's too much.
