Central Yellowstone is in a caldera from a volcanic eruption 630,000 years ago. Magma is closer to the surface here, creating many steaming vents, geysers, and hot springs. Bear and bison live here, too, not including the humans who stop by to visit.

Physics seeks to understand BlueSky : "Bubbles are ubiquitous in nature and of great significance..." (pubs.aip.org/aip/pof/arti...) #bubbles
A screenshot of an article from "Physics of Fluids" published 28 March 2023, titled "A unified theory for bubble dynamics". Five authors are listed, with their academic affiliations, followed by an article abstract.
The abstract begins:
"In this work, we established a novel theory for the dynamics of oscillating bubbles such as cavitation bubbles, underwater explosion bubbles, and air bubbles. For the first time, we proposed bubble dynamics equations that can simultaneously take into consideration the effects of boundaries, bubble interaction, ambient flow field, gravity, bubble migration, fluid compressibility, viscosity, and surface tension while maintaining a unified and elegant mathematical form."

Nailed it for me. Episcopal for many decades, by conviction and by choice and not by birth. Your quizzes on the English, French, and Russian revolutions got me 100% as well, so... interesting work!
A screen of mostly text - at the top in small red print it reads "Your closest neighborhood"
Underneath in large bold text, the summary line: "The Episcopal Church (TEC)"
Underneath text which reads "Your taste lives in the tradition that has become, more than any other in America, the home of inclusive orthodoxy: sacramental theology, openly LGBTQ+ clergy and laity, a strong literary culture, smaller but stable... Your neighbors are people who think hymns from the 1700s and same-sex weddings belong in the same building."

Walking tour of the architecture of Detroit, led by the Alliance Française de Détroit. A bit of the same architectural style as Chicago if not as grand, but Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac would be proud of the city he founded.
