Long story short, the multi-verse shows that the forced-response task is very little affected by particular decisions made by the researcher. Thus, more good news for the forced-response aficionados! New preprint! We (among others) have shown that the forced-response task is a promising way to study habits in the human lab. But its increasingly popular use is associated by increasing variability in task parameters and data analysis options, creating a potential “garden of forking paths"...
