Did some work today (& some writing!) & cried a bit & answered many emails & got vaxed (COVID, flu) & made doctor appointment & fiddled with calendar & texted with friends & watched a "How To Use Instant Pot" video & played with GitHub-on-iOs a bit & did not do ANY of my 3 Most Important tasks 🦄🪽

My Daily Routine W ADHD:
-Wake Up
-Do Fucking Nothing For 5 hours
-Panic
-Do Stuff In A Panic for 1-2 hours
-Hyperfixate on doing one thing for 4 hours (the wrong thing)
-Existential Dread
-Make pact with myself to break out of this pattern tomorrow
-repeat pattern tomorrow

Davi Gray has a great talent for poetry. The strong prose and amazing on-stage performance make This Body, This Fruit a very powerful piece of art. One moment you're laughing at the invention of the word "unpussied" and the next you feel the weight of everything the world does to bring the trans community down. This Body, This Fruit is an extremely raw and personal story that knows how to tug at your heartstrings just right. I cannot recommend it enough.

It's funny that this never struck me before, as a performer, but yesterday (during our 8 hours of tech 🫠) I went up to the 3rd row and looked at the stage, with the lights and the set pieces, and immediately thought, *Damn, I want to see this show!* (1/2)

One morning in the middle of July
the grass was wet with night's breath,
air soaked in early sun.
Outside my window thirty-two small
birds-light brown streaked with dark-
hopped and dipped among the blades,
beaking up breakfast from the dirt.
Grass tips shone with points
of white light like a concert
crowd lifting up flames in praise
of the birds' whistling chorus and the sun
with its long slow morning song.
