Investigating the Role of Climate Change in the 3 May 2025 Western Europe Hailstorm Using Atmospheric Analogs
We analyzed the 3 May 2025 Paris hailstorm to assess climate change's influence using ERA5 data and analogue-based attribution. Comparing present and past atmospheric patterns, we found that today's ....

The October 2025 #NewSouthWales wildfires show how climate change’s fingerprint extends beyond heatwaves and floods. Fire weather is getting hotter, windier, and more dangerous. Without urgent emission cuts, the fire season will keep growing longer and more intense. @climameter.bsky.social

The deadly floods in DR Congo are the result of both global and local pressures—rising CO₂ emissions from fossil fuel combustion and deforestation. At this stage, coordinated global efforts to cut emissions and local efforts are essential to prevent such disasters from happening again.

Now is the time to adapt our cities and landscapes by embracing nature-based solutions that restore the environment and strengthen resilience against Mediterranean storms.
