I don't know what's been up with YouTube's algorithm for the past year or so, but all it shows me is a bunch of stuff I've seen or tons of videos from a few channels I've watched once. 20 years of viewing history and millions of videos and they can't surface anything new and interesting.

Every day I'm amazed at what people post on LinkedIn. Today it was a woman who shared what she's learned from her husband's almost fatal heart attack. I've seen people share things I wouldn't tell a therapist. Right there next to their real name. Truly the most insane corner of the internet.
