It is impossible to overstate how totally sociopathic it is for @rahmemanuel.bsky.social to have turned Chicago into his personal political corruption machine and now depict himself as the 2028 presidential candidate leading an anti-corruption movement.

Newsom is now the nation’s most prominent Trump Democrat — a governor aggressively using his power to empower & enrich Trump’s billionaires. If a Dem candidate successfully spotlights this in the 2028 presidential primary, they will have a shot to defeat him & win the nomination

Democratic consultants now calling on Democratic lawmakers to obey tech oligarchs exemplifies how an invisible form of corruption operates. In this @levernews.com, I get a Democratic U.S. senator to explain exactly how it works. Find the full interview at The Lever's YouTube page - and pass it on.

The reason Corporate Dems are freaking out is because for the first time in decades, they are losing their power to help their donors control Democrats’ agenda. Example 👇

Even "moderate" Dems now parrot @sanders.senate.gov's populism, as I wrote in my @washingtonpost.com essay about Bernie as a left version of Goldwater. These Dems must be held accountable to policy promises, but this is a HUGE Overton Window shift, which is why corporate Dems are so mad.

As I've been saying: The corporate Democratic faction is willing to sabotage populist Democratic nominees, effectively make common cause with MAGA and potentially lose the 2026 midterms if that corporate faction believes that is the price of maintaining its own power inside the Democratic Party.

Michael LaRosa is all over Fox News purporting to speak for Democrats while trying to help MAGA destroy @abdulelsayed.bsky.social, which could prevent Dems from taking back the Senate. When he's on TV, they aren't disclosing what he does for a living. I pointed that out, and then LaRosa freaked.

I was invited on @cbsnews.com & used the opportunity to discuss how Dem voters are enraged at Dem leaders & how that's boosting the party's populist wing. For the first time ever, corporate Dems are losing some of their power to buy their party's primaries - which is freaking them out.

Stevens' final argument in the primary is that corruption - including Big Money's effort to buy her a Senate seat - is merely an esoteric "educated issue" that has nothing to do with corrupt lawmakers creating corrupt policies fueling the affordability crisis

For a decade, corporate Dems & liberals have soothed themselves by insisting Trump won ONLY because of racism, not also because voters got sick of corporate Dems promising hope & change - and then selling them out. In this important NYT clip, @sunraysunray.bsky.social destroys this argument.

Rahm's piece is not a real argument. It is fundraising. Choosing the right-wing WSJ oped page is a move to speak directly to billionaires. Shitting on populist Dems aims to get billionaires to write checks for his campaign. @rahmemanuel.bsky.social's piece isn't an oped. It is a solicitation.
