Just did mine yesterday. Got the all clear, which was happy news to be sure. But I would have felt a similar relief if they’d found polyps as that meant I’d gotten in in time to catch something early. Prep wasn’t great, but procedure itself was a snap. Go get that done if it’s time, folks!

Trump has Made The Magic Happen and the party has benefitted from those coattails so I think things didn’t really * click* for them until that wet fart of a midterm convention flopped. Also, docile media and PAC money mean they don’t have to campaign anymore, so they’ve lost that necessary instinct.
