The Alexandria Bridge between Ottawa and Gatineaux

A gray metal bridge over a river. One lane goes through the metal cage, one on the right of it, and pedestrians and bikes on left. Tall buildings visible in distance and trees close by.

This week, my main contact Erisa is working on building more shelters and finding mattresses, since many people still have to sleep outside.

A frame for a shelter, made of wooden poles/tree trunks. In back, a wooden fence and glimpses of completed shelter. Sky is bright with come clouds.

Remember how I am supporting and fundraising for queer refugees in South Sudan? Today I met three of them who made it to Canada! For the many who are still in the camp, the struggle continues.

This is Sardinia. The boat passed between Corsica and Sardinia, which is quite appropriate for the Odyssey theme

North side of Sardinia. Rocky shoreline juts out of the water, and there is a tower standing on the left part among white rocks.

Finally I will share pictures of the boat.

Back end of the boat. Cars are exiting from the ferry entrance. Above the car decks, the upper decks are illuminated in blue.

Side-back view of the boat. Writing says “Cruise Barcelona” and “zero emission in port.”

Exhaust stack at the top of the boat. It is blue with a large letter G.

The nature of Denmark is that it’s a cloudy and windy evening in June, grab your BEER, it’s time for a RAVE at the BEACH!

Don’t forget the nets. You wouldn’t want any of the gargoyles to escape.

This was not a good design. Don’t put small moving parts if you want your laptop hinge to be durable.

Laptop hinge. There is a small piece connecting the screen and the base.

Broken laptop hinge. The small piece of the hinge was supposed to be connected to the screen with a metal bar on the right, but this got detached from the screen. The left side had nothing to rigidly attach it to the screen, but the electronic cord connecting the screen went through there.

Post from Paul Rosenberg that says: give it a rest dude. i've had queer friends since i was at least 5. i wrote under a gay black persona in a zine as a teen in the 60s. i've been the only straight dude in a queer performance art space & teased for it by the performer who i was there to support. i REALLY don't have time for yr BS.

The first image is from Trump's post today and the second is a post from a Christian nationalist pastor from November 2023.

Trump's Truth Social post: I love the smell of deportations in the morning... Chicago about to find out why it's called the department of WAR. LLM-generated image with Trump in a cavalry hat, military helicopters invading Chicago, flames, and the words Chipocalypse now.

Post from Christian nationalist Ben Zeisloft: "GM. We must retake Ohio. Pray for the church in Ohio, and labor to rout the evil of child sacrifice in your state." LLM-generated picture with military helicopters, tanks, and crusaders on horses, marching through the streets of Ohio.

"eradicate practices that devalue and demean the Christian faith" is genocidal rhetoric. I also am not sure what it refers to practically in regards to *foreign policy*. Is it anti-Muslim immigration policy? Mandating Christian prayer in the office? Apocalyptic expectations about Israel?
