I visited the powerful 'Testimonies from a Troubled Land' exhibit today in Hoxton, London. It features Israeli and Palestinian photography from Edut Mekomit, including war destruction in Gaza and Israel and life in the West Bank - hosted by the New Israel Fund. Well worth a visit if you’re nearby.

As my family of lighter and darker skinned European, Asian and Middle Eastern Jews shows, talk of Jewish people and Black people experiencing racism differently erases existence and experiences of Jews of colour. Of course people with darker skin experience racism in particular and painful ways.
